These precious days I spend with you.

Years before the successful Encores! series at City Center, there was Broadway in Concert at Town Hall. Kurt was asked to play Washingotn Irving in Kurt Weill's Knickerbocker Holiday. He recalls being very impressed with Richard Kiley who he had the priviledge of seeing in Man of La Mancha years before. Mr. Kiley spent his offstage time sketching in pencil and he was quite a fine artist.
